Malaika Health and Care is founded and led by Malak Hasan, a compassionate healthcare professional with over a decade of nursing experience and an MBA in Healthcare Management from Concordia University Chicago. Malak graduated with honors as a member of the Delta Mu Delta International Honors Society – Pi Delta Chapter, recognizing her academic excellence and leadership in business.
Her healthcare journey combines dual degrees, hands-on care, and multiple certifications. Her mission is to help people live healthier lives.
From the start of her career, Malak knew healthcare was more than a profession — it was a calling. She has worked privately in client homes, in nursing homes, and in top
hospitals in the Chicagoland area, caring for patients of all ages — from newborns and
new mothers to seniors receiving end-of-life care.
Her service extends internationally, having traveled overseas to volunteer in hospitals, providing care in underserved communities and learning from diverse medical settings. These experiences shaped her belief that hospital-level care should be available to everyone — in the comfort of home.
Malak’s qualifications extend far beyond her health and business degrees:
Malak is a believer in God’s grace and the idea that not all angels are meant to be seen —
sometimes they are sent to us as people, in the touch of their hands and the kindness of
their hearts.
She believes care is not only a service but a gift that protects dignity, restores hope, and
promotes health. This philosophy drives every decision at Malaika Health and Care.
Malak’s healthcare background and international service inspired her to bring compassionate care to Illinois communities. She envisions care that offers not just help — but dignity, independence, and peace of mind in capable, caring hands.
“I founded Malaika Health and Care because I in believe every person — no matter their age, health condition, or circumstance — deserves exceptional care in the comfort of their home. I have seen, both here and abroad, the life-changing power of compassionate service. Through God’s grace, I strive to bring that same comfort, skill, and kindness to every client and family we serve.”
